The sportive climbing started in a rigorous winter Ukrainian. It was in the 70s as a Ukrainian had the idea of  during the winter hanging stones in the wall for coach. The idea was so good that soon all other local climbers copied the idea. There appeared to sport climbing.

In Brazil the sport began to be practiced at the end of the 80s. The great star was held in 1989, the first South American Championship of Sports climbing in Curitiba. Since then new players and sponsors came to support and practice the sport.

The climbing is a sport that uses practical techniques and movements of mountainering and which aims to require the most strength and concentration of the athlete. The technique, the courage, the adrenaline, with the force are the factors that make the climbing a sport exciting.
